Engage with journalism organisations, attend conferences, and join relevant groups on LinkedIn.
Online databases
Websites like IJNet (International Journalists' Network) and Journalism.co.uk regularly update lists of fellowships. (As you can see, we’re beginning to start doing this at Splice!)
University and institutional websites
Visit the websites of universities and institutions known for offering journalism fellowships. Remember, their fellowship programs are only as good as the quality of applications and fellows they find.
Social media
Follow organisations and institutions that offer fellowships on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Setting up a Google alert for ‘journalism fellowship’ isn’t going to hurt either.

Understand the fellowship's focus, eligibility criteria, and application process. Keep your responses specific and to the point.
